I started painting Mary's face and although her eyes are not quite done yet I can't get over how she seems to look right through me (and you).

Almost there

After almost two and half months St. Rose of Lima will get to shine in it's new glory!

Bringing life!

Finally, I started to bring life to the figures in Restout's composition... Interpreting it in my own brush style is key to the project so that we can claim some sense of ownership. So far - so good!
